Tip: When purchasing Aloha shirts, look for those with
pockets that match the pattern on the shirt's body 100%.
Non-matching pockets are usually a sign of poorer quality.
Coconut buttons are usually a sign of a higher quality shirt.

"One can never know too much!"
Each year much of the Pacific Humpback Whale population migrates
to Hawai'i (from Alaska) to spend winters in our warm tropical waters.
The majority of the whales that call Hawai'i home each year are found
in waters off Maui's shores. While they're often sighted in Hawai'i as
early as September, staying around 'til "mid May," the peak viewing
period runs January through April. To learn more, visit NOAA's
Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary
website. And, for our choice of a thoroughly rewarding
commercial whale watching experience, go here.

98-degrees (August, 1951) and 48-degrees (January, 1969),
the hottest and coolest anywhere in the State of Hawai'i.
Sunrise/Sunset Hours and Local Times
For selected cities worldwide (daylight
savings time shown when "in season").
The Hawaiian Islands are on Hawai'i Standard Time (HST).
We are 2-hours earlier than Pacific Standard Time, and 5-
hours earlier than Eastern Standard Time. Hawai'i does not
switch to Daylight Savings Time like most of the country.
So, during DST we are 3-hours earlier than Pacific time,
and 6-hours earlier than Eastern time. (We're 10-hours
earlier than Greenwich Mean Time, aka GMT or Zulu.)

certainly not "book burners" nor censors we would ask that you please consider other available guides first.
